The main responsibility of administration is to ensure efficient performance of all departments at ICMR-NIE. The administration acts as a connecting link by taking care of management and service matters of ICMR-NIE staff in order to realize the vision and mission of this Institute.

ICMR-NIE Administration strives to achieve transparency and efficiency by adopting various digital solutions such as

  • E-Procurement of Goods and Services through E-tender (Central Public Procurement Portal) and Government E-Marketing (GeM) Portal
  • Financial and Accounts Management using Teller Gold, PFMS, TSA, TATA – ICMR Balance Softwares
  • STHIRA IT Solutions for Payroll processing
  • E-Governance Portal for maintaining employee data base
  • ICMR-NIE Administration Department is in the process of implementing Asset Management, Pension Software modules and E-Office solutions
