Head of the Division: Mr. A. Elangovan Scientist – G
Computing and Information Science (CIS) division is a well-equipped computer laboratory having state-of-the-art technologies for data management. The important activities of CIS include offering of scientific support to various research projects/studies in the area of data processing and software development.
Servers and related peripherals were installed to cater the need of data management activities such as data collection, storage and analysis. We have moved from paper-based data collections to electronic data capture method. Periodical backups are made mandatory to ensure the zero data loss.
Internet facilities being offered to all the staff of this institute. In addition to that wireless network connection also provided to the main building, hostel and guest house.
